The Fabre have just moved into a new house, in a “splendid” suburb of the Paris region. Pierre has started a new job, and lives among his colleagues, in front of his boss’s house. The Fabre have four children, a girl and three boys. The trouble is that the youngest, Ludovic is convinced that he is a little girl. Confronted with this tenacious certainty, neither his parents nor the neighbours know how to react. My life in Rose is a film about difference, fear of others, misunderstanding and rejection. It also talks about dreams, magic and hope.
